  3. VBS July 7th – 11th, VBS picnic for families of VBS, Friday the 11th
  4. Men’s community prayer breakfast, Saturday July 12th 8am guest speaker Mike McMahon
  5. Baptism service, Aug 10th Greenhill bridge/creek 5pm.
  6. Church-wide pool party, Sunday, Aug 10th 6pm – 8pm, Pearisburg town pool (directly after Baptism)
  7. Church wide picnic Aug 24th 5pm, with waterside, bluegrass band and guests from other local churches
  8. Shady Grove board minutes will be posted on the bulletin board for those that have interest.

Interested in serving?

  • The Giles Mission Food Pantry is always in need of donations. If you have canned foods, you are welcome to bring them to church service and deposit them in a box in foyer. They will be delivered to the mission. ex. Cereal, hamburger or tuna helper, canned fruit, canned soup, crackers, etc.
  • Please share your God-given talents and volunteer to serve in our Church Ministries. Please let Mac Miller know of any ideas you may have.
    • Building and properties
    • Sunday school/church teachers We welcome volunteers to help our current teachers and need additional teachers for both Sunday school and church (once a month or once a qt).

  • Ernie Miller’s milestone birthday.
  • FCA camp at Liberty University – amazing, life changing event.
  • All Travelers’ safe return home from their trips, including Brenda Orey, Teresa Miller, Hannah Aschliman and children.
