Dec 14th, 2025 Prayer Requests and Announcements

The biggest thanks to all of those who participated and attended our Christmas cantata. Wow… what a great attendance on a very frigid night. Our choir along with members from nine other churches came together to offer praise through instruments and voices.

Mark your calendars

  • Christmas Caroling/delivering soup to neighbors in our community, directly after church, Dec 21st (sign up sheet in back to help with the soup)
  • Christmas eve candlelight service 6pm, Dec 24th
  • Glove and Hat tree located in side classroom
  • New Year’s Eve game and prayer night, Dec 31st, 6pm – 10pm bring a game and some snacks to share (drop in)

  • The Giles Mission Food Pantry is always in need of donations. If you have canned foods, you are welcome to bring them to church service and deposit them in a box in foyer. They will be delivered to the mission. ex. Cereal, hamburger or tuna helper, canned fruit, canned soup, crackers, etc.
  • Please share your God-given talents and volunteer to serve in our Church Ministries. Please let Mac Miller know of any ideas you may have.

    • Sunday school/church teachers We welcome volunteers to help our current teachers and need additional teachers for both Sunday school and church (once a month or once a qt).

  • Instrumental and vocal performances during Service by Margaret Taliaferro, Case Keatley, Drema McMahon, and Anthony Woodyard.
  • “Wreaths Across America” program with local American Heritage Girls placing 200+ wreaths on Veterans’ graves on December 13 with over 3 million wreaths placed nationwide.
  • Youth who participated in Shady Grove, JCA, and Community plays.
  • Dave and Barb Jungers being back at Church.
  • Zac Jungers’ recovery going well. Praises for the many blessings through the journey, especially the special prayer by Ty Price.
  • Pat Farmer for hosting the ladies’ Christmas gathering.
  • Blessings to Terri Dunford and her family from cousin’s burial day, beautiful weather and message.
